N. Alan Zais, 86, of Fern Park passed away on Thursday November 2, 2017. Alan was born in Fall River, MA on November 17, 1930. He graduated from Brown University in 1953, and then served proudly in the U.S. Navy from 1953 to 1955. Alan married his beloved wife of 58 years, Helen Drutz, in 1959. He worked for 20 years as a bond trader on Wall Street before deciding to escape the New York City rat race and relocate the family to Orlando, Florida in 1976. There, he was a realtor for many years until he retired to pursue his passion of antiquing. Alan is survived by his wife, Helen, sons Stuart and Michael, their wives Terri and Robin, and grandchildren Lauren, Amanda, and Kyle. Alan's final resting place will be at the Cape Canaveral National Cemetery.
