Adrian 'Monce' Encarnacion, 80, of Orlando, Florida passed away on Tuesday, February 21, 2017, at Florida Hospital – South. He was born on September 13, 1936 in Rio Piedras, Puerto Rico.
Mr. Encarnacion is survived by his loving wife, Julia; sons, George and Marcos; daughters, Aida, Noemi and Julie; and five grandchildren (Giorgio, Brandon, Nicole, Marcos David, and Natalia) and one great grandson (Julien); daughter in-laws, Martha, Silvia and Megan; and son in-laws, Angel and Niel. Not only was he a devoted father and grandfather to his children; he also loved his step-grandchildren, Crystal, Ashley, Angel Josue and Izabella, Yeshua, Jeremiah and Sumaya.
Adrian with his wife, Julia, established and ministered the first Hispanic church in the historical Thornton Park area, Iglesia Estrella de la Manana, during the late 80s and 90s. In the 2000s, Mr. Encarnacion opened a new church location in the West Orlando area until he retired in October 2007.
His hobby outside of the ministry was watching his favorite all American major baseball league, Boston Red Sox, Miami Marlins and Tampa Bay Rays. Adrian had a talent in repairing electronics and he was 'your neighborhood tv repairman' who was and still loved by many. His gentle smile and soft-spoken voice touched many hearts. Adrian will not be forgotten.
