Adele Yost, 90, of Orlando, Florida, formerly of Orefield, Pa. passed away on Saturday, July 11, 2015. Mrs. Yost, our beloved "Nana" was born on September 30, 1924 in Fogelsville, Pa. to Kattas and Elizabeth "Azziz" Azar.
She is survived by her loving husband of 69 years, Frank Yost and three children; James Yost and his wife, Linda, of Orefield Pa., Sandra Pangonis and her husband, Bill, of Orlando, Fl., and Linda Johnson and her husband, James of Portage, Pa. She has 12 grandchildren, 26 great-grandchildren, and 1 great- great grandchild.
Adele loved her God, her husband, and her family. She loved to cook and passed along many of her recipes to her children and her children's children. She also enjoyed shopping at Macy's and the Bon Ton… especially for shoes. She was partial to the color purple, never left the house without her lipstick firmly in place. She enjoyed painting her nails pink or red.
She was a kind and gentle woman with a ready smile and a kind word even in the midst of her illness. She has touched many lives and will be missed by her family and friends.
