Abbie Kaitlyn Oakes of Orlando, Florida left us all too soon at the age of 27 on July 8, 2017. She was born August 28, 1989 in Columbus, Ga. Abbie graduated from Northside High School where she played in the band and achieved first chair all district as a flautist. She enjoyed music, playing with her cats, cooking, visits to the theme parks, celebrating Halloween and was an avid Alabama football fan. She loved her family and was a dedicated employee of her family business, Automotive Capital Corporation. If you loved Abbie, our "doll angel", she loved you. She is survived by her mother Laura Beth Thomas (Eric W Thomas), Father Douglas V Oakes ( Kim Oakes), her Sister, Megan Molly Oakes, her Grandmother, Mary E Oakes, Her grandfather, Gerald M (Wallace) Cochran, her aunt Patricia Cochran Schmidt (Carl G Schmidt), cousins Rachel C Roth, Sarah W blackmon, Maxwell G blackmon, other family and friends. Preceded in death by her Grandmother, Willie Clara Cochran and Grandfather, Virgil F Oakes.

Service will be held at DeGusipe Funeral Home at 9001 N Orlando Avenue Maitland, Florida on Friday, July 14 from 11am to 1pm.
