Aaron Lee Marnitz, 79, of Cape Canaveral, Florida, passed away at 10:13AM, Friday, June 4, 2021. He was born October 2, 1941 in Crawfordsville, Indiana, to the late Cecil and Thelma (Cade) Marnitz. His late brother was Dan Marnitz.
He is survived by daughter, Michelle Solberg and son, Matthew Marnitz, former spouse, Patricia Marnitz-Manuel, uncle, Lloyd Marnitz, nephew, Bart Marnitz, niece, Amy Robinson and niece, Sondra Inman.
He was an entrepreneur, father and friend to many. He graduated from Indiana University, on June 13, 1966, earning a Bachelor of Science in Business. He went on to become an Assistant Manager of a Sears and Roebuck store. He then moved to Florida with his family to start his own wholesale lighting business.
He enjoyed the beach, boating, sci-fi, and traveling the country with friends and family.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Friday, June 18, 2021 from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM at DeGusipe Funeral Home, 9001 N. Orlando Ave. (Hwy 17-92), Maitland, FL. For those who wish to attend virtually please follow the following link to the DeGusipe Funeral Home Facebook page:
