Sharon Lee Madden, 77, of Orlando, FL died peacefully on Thursday, June 24, 2021, surrounded by her loving family at AdventHealth Hospice Care in Altamonte Springs, Florida. She was a loving daughter, sister, wife, mom, grandmother, great grandmother, aunt and friend. Her greatest blessings call her Nana. Sharon was born on October 18, 1943, in Buffalo, NY to Earl and Kathleen (Ross) Douglas. When she was a teenager, her family relocated to Orlando. She got her first job at the local Woolworth, and it was there she met the love of her life, Ted Madden. They were inseparable and married on October 19, 1963. Sharon raised 4 boys who were the "apple of her eye." She later returned to work in retail and retired from Target after 25 years of service. She is preceded in death by her husband of 33 years, Ted Madden, Sr., and her parents, Earl and Kathleen Douglas. Sharon is survived by her sons: Ted Madden, Jr., (Sara) of Fayetteville, TN; Jeffrey Madden, Sr., (Donna) of Somerset, KY; Kenneth Madden of Orlando, FL; Clifford Madden (Martha) of Orlando, FL; and sister, Kathey Streeter (Jim) of Orlando, FL. She is also survived by 15 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; 2 nieces and many other special family and friends. A Celebration of Sharon's life is planned for April 2, 2022 at 11:00am at Riverside Park, Pavilion A, 1600 Lockwood Boulevard, Oviedo, FL 32765. Inurnment to follow at 4:00pm at Chapel Hill Cemetery, 2420 Harrell Road, Orlando, FL 32871. All family and friends are invited and welcome to join us on this special day! There will be food, laughter, memories and tears to share before she is set in her final resting place with our Dad. Hope to see you there!
