Natasha Reesnes

April 12, 1979 - January 4, 2022

Natasha Reesnes was born in Rome, Georgia on April 12, 1979. It was there that she attended East Central Elementary, Rome Middle and Rome High School. After high school, Natasha attended Mercer University and later transferred to Columbus State University where she graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in English with a Minor in Creative Writing. During this time, Natasha participated in several college programs at the Walt Disney World Company in Orlando, FL. She had many different positions at Disney which included, working the parade on Main Street, housekeeping, and Coordinator of Training at Fort Wilderness. It was during this time at Disney, Natasha met her best friend and soulmate, Anthony Reesnes. Natasha and Anthony had their first date at Old Town in Kissimmee, FL on November 4, 2013. It was the start of many fun adventures that included going to the theme parks, going to mini golf, going bowling, getting free food at new restaurant openings, going to free movie screenings, and taking weekend trips to St. Augustine to look for ghosts. After 5 years of dating, Anthony asked Natasha to be his wife and she happily accepted. Anthony and Natasha had a movie themed wedding at the Museum of Arts and Sciences in Daytona Beach, FL on January 13, 2018. Natasha then began her new career at ServiceNow working with major companies to assist them in keeping their systems up to date. Natasha lived a selfless life always putting others first. She always had a smile on her face and a positive attitude that rubbed off on other people. Some of Natasha's passions included creative writing, playing her saxophone, seeing pugs, and spending time with her husband, family and friends.She also loved movies,especially Star Wars, Dr. Who, Nightmare Before Christmas and The Fifth Element. Those left to cherish Natasha's memory are her husband, Anthony Reesnes, her parents, Martha and Willie Anderson, her sisters, Christine Anderson, and Michelle Watkins, her nieces Aiyana Johnson and Madison Watkins, her Uncle James and Aunt Evelyn Johnson, her in-laws Sharon and Dan Reesnes, the family dog, Prince Reesnes, Aunt Vickie and Bill Van Rijn and a host of family and friends. Natasha gained her wings and went to Heaven on January 4, 2022. She will be greatly missed and NEVER EVER FORGOTTEN!
