Marion A. Farella

Marion A. “Mema” Farella, 91 of Lake Mary, Florida passed away Saturday, February 12, 2022 in Altamonte Springs. Mrs. Farella was born in Queens, New York and moved to Florida in 1955. She was an owner of Slumberite, Inc. from 1955 until 1995. She was a member of All Souls Catholic Church, the Council of Catholic Women, Beta Sigma Phi and the Sanford Women’s Club. Mrs. Farella was predeceased by her parents John and Caroline Pierro, her husband Jerry Farella, Sr. and her son Jerry Farella, Jr. (Donna). She is survived by her children Carol Larson, Diana (Jimmy) Pavgouzas; her grandchildren Eric (Rachel) Larson, Jr., Shane (Danielle) Larson, Tyler (Alisha) Larson, Tommy (Kat) Farella, Nicholas (Jessica) Pavgouzas, Sr., Anthony Pavgouzas; her great grandchildren Ethan Larson, Piper Larson, Easton Larson, Dylan Larson, Caden Larson, Fischer Farella and Nicholas Pavgouzas, Jr. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions be made to Catholic Charities of Central Florida, 1771 North Semoran Blvd., Orlando, Florida 32807 A Visitation is set for Thursday, February 17 from 6:00 to 7:00 pm with the Rosary recited at 7:00 pm. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 am on Friday, February 18, 2022 with the Very Reverend Richard Trout as celebrant; all services will be at the All Souls Historic Chapel, 810 South Oak Avenue, downtown Sanford. Burial to follow Mass at All Souls Catholic Cemetery, 25th St. & Hardy Ave., Sanford, FL.
