He is preceded in death by his first wife Amalia (Cifone) Mattioli (d.1974) and his second wife Amalia (Fanin) Mattioli (d.2020). Lorenzo is survived by his sons Gianfranco (Frank) Mattioli, Umberto Mattioli and Rocco Mattioli.
