Lenore M. Bentley

April 23, 1923 - February 27, 2022

Lenore M. (Carbo) Bentley, 98, died peacefully at Advent Health Hospice Care in Orlando, Florida on February 27, 2022. She was predeceased by her husband of 51 years, Leslie C. Bentley, and her son Wayne Bentley. Lenore M. Bentley was born on April 25, 1923 in Kensington, Connecticut to Joseph J. Carbo and Marguerite A. (Erwin) Carbo where she attended local schools. In 1942 she married Master Sgt. Leslie C. Bentley. She lived briefly in Arizona and Connecticut. The family moved to Florida in 1950 where they lived in several towns for over 72 years. Mount Dora is where Lenore resided the past 10 years of her life. She is survived by several cousins: Jan and Robert Neubauer; Ray and Edna Neubauer; and Marie Misenti. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews. Tom and Joy Barrett, Nancy Couzelis, and Gerry Hutchinson who all reside in Florida. She is survived by 16 additional nieces and nephews and five nieces and nephews who preceded her in death. In addition, Lenore leaves behind other dear friends who were like family to her: Monica Plew, Tim and David Whited, Wayne Whited, Leslie Whited, Joseph DeLowery, Christopher, Brian and Geraldine DeLowery. Her funeral is scheduled for 9 AM on March 14, 2022 at Saint Patrick Catholic Church, 6803 Old Highway 441, Mount Dora, Florida 32757 with a reception to follow.
