Franklin Gilbert Mosley

Franklin Gilbert Mosley, 76, of Altamonte Springs, Florida, passed away on March 29, 2022. He was born on March 7, 1946 to James and Theresa Mosley in Charleston, West Virginia. He was in Boy Scouts and had fond memories of fishing, camping and hunting with his father. He moved to College Park in Orlando with his family when he was a teenager. He graduated from Edgewater High School and Rollins College with a Bachelor Degree in Finance/Accounting. Frank retired in October 2014 from the State of Florida Department of Revenue after 23 years of service. He was previously employed at WFTV Channel 9 as well as Florida Gas Company (before it was merged with Enron) and Minute Maid. His hobbies included painting, photography and golf. Frank was previously very active at St. Mary Magdalen Catholic Church and then became a parishioner at Annunciation Catholic Church. He served as an usher, taught Prep, volunteered at the Fall Festivals and was a member of the Knights of Columbus. Frank is survived by his son Salvatore (Sam) Mosley, his sisters Jo Haney Ball (Bill) and Terry O’Brien (Mickey), his brother James Mosley, as well as niece Heather Haney Henderson (Preston and children Gabriella & Cole), niece Kelly O’Brien Glenn (Eric and children Taylor, Karlie & Madeline), and nephew Kevin O’Brien (son Dillon). A Funeral Mass will be held at Annunciation Catholic Church, 1020 Montgomery Road, Altamonte Springs, Florida 32714, on Friday, April 22, 2022 at 10:00 a.m. Frank asked that those attending his funeral mass NOT wear black.
