Earle Erhoda Lobban

September 7, 1935 - May 1, 2022

Earle Erhoda Lobban, affectionately known as “Lucille” or “Aunt Lucy”, was born on September 7th, 1935 in the parish of Clarendon, Jamaica, W.I. to Wilfred and Josephine Morris. Earle went to be with the Lord peacefully on May 1st, 2022, surrounded by her loved ones. She is survived by her children Everton, Easton, James, Georgia and Samantha. She was preceded in death by Michael, Primrose and Gladstone. She left behind 18 Grandchildren, 23 Great-Children and 1 Great-Great-Grandchild. She is survived by 4 sisters and predeceased by 1 brother. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews. When Earle was a child, her family moved to Kingston, Jamaica where she attended school and was a brilliant student receiving many accolades. This is where she met and married her childhood sweetheart (the late) Gladstone Tucker. Earle was an extremely hard working and ambitious woman, who was always seeking a better life for herself and her family. In 1962, Earle immigrated to the UK. Once all the family was together in the UK, Earle married Constantine Roy Lobban, with whom they shared a child, Samantha. In 1977 Earle, Constantine and Samantha moved to Canada in pursuit of better opportunities. From Canada, they moved to New York. In 1998 Earle became ill and was no longer able to work. In 1999, she decided to move to Florida for a warmer climate. Samantha and her children later joined Earle in Florida, where she became her caregiver for the last 19 years, until she departed. Earle was a very sociable, fun loving and no-nonsense woman. She loved music and she loved to dance. She connected with people from all walks of life, young and old. Earle was loved and highly respected by everyone that encountered her. She was a confidant and a spiritual leader, who prayed for her family daily. Earle’s assignment on earth is now complete and she can rest in the arms of her Creator and wear her crown of glory. Her legacy will always be remembered in everyone’s hearts.
