Cheryl Ruth Shiner-Epperson
November 4, 1946 - April 23, 2022
Cheryl Ruth Shiner-Epperson of Clermont, FL, passed away on April 23rd in Celebration FL, at the age of 75. She was preceded by her parents Paul C. and Sadie Shiner. She was born, raised, and lived in Miami, FL until her retirement. She loved Miami and always called it home. She will be laid to rest there near her parents. Cheryl was a terrific cook, avid poker player and excellent saltwater fisherman. She had a green thumb and enjoyed tending to her plants and flowers. Her true passion was nature. She loved creatures, wild and domestic, and they in turn loved her back. She spent hours feeding, caring for and watching them. She took in five feral cats, she gave them all a happy home, loved and cared for them equally until their passing. Cheryl is survived her aunt Ruth Poe and many cousins including Denise Mazloom Ilmonen, Candace Mazloom Hart, Joe Mazloom and dearest friend Preston Harpel. She will be truly missed by those who knew her. She was deeply loved and will never be forgotten. She has left a void in my heart that can never be filled, her passing has left a deafening silence. Every time a flower blooms, I will see your face. Every time a bird takes flight, I will see your spirit. In lieu of flowers the family requests a donation be made to the SPCA of Florida: https://www.spcaflorida.org/, or to Cancer Research in your area. The family of Cheryl Ruth Shriner-Epperson invites you to leave a message of condolence on the Tribute Wall created in her loving memory.
