Albert Lawrence Land Jr.

June 19, 1933 - April 4, 2022

Albert Lawrence Land Jr. went home to be with his Lord on April 4, 2022. He was born in Wilmington, North Carolina on June 19, 1933, the son of Albert Lawrence Land and Mildred Lamphier Land. He remains in the hearts of his wife of 63 years, Helen Binford Land and his children, Larry and wife Tammy, Sally, Scott and wife Tanya; grandchildren Robert and wife Ashley, Shannon, Rachel and husband Jonah, Kemper, Rebecca, Taylor and Spencer as well as his sister Betty and Barbra and their husbands Byron and John. Al was also blessed with three great granddaughters, Kennedy age 4, Evangeline age 2 and Remington age 9 months. Al graduated from Virginia Tech in civil engineering and spent most of his career working at his engineering firm, Land Engineering. He was a founding member of First Covenant Church in Winter Park, as well as an avid golfer and fisherman!
