Victor Ramon Diaz

Victor Ramon Diaz, a loving husband and father, passed away on August 13, 2021 at the age of 75. Victor is survived by his wife, Keisa Maritza, his children Brenda Milagros, Victor Ramon and Keimari; his grandchildren, Victor Ramon III, Hannah Elizabeth, Anna Marie, and Christian Alexander; his nieces Melissa and Alice; nephews Joey and Alexis. He is predeceased by his brother, Antonio Alicea. Victor was born in Fajardo, Puerto Rico on May 27, 1946 to Jose Alicea and Lucia Agosto. At the age of 8 years old, his family moved to Manhattan, NY where they lived for 16 years. He graduated from High school and joined the Navy on June 29, 1965. In 1970, he moved back to Fajardo, Puerto Rico. On April 29, 1972, he married Keisa. On July 10, 1973, September 20, 1976, and May 8, 1978 respectively, he welcomed his two daughters and son, who were the most important part of his life. Victor was a devoted husband, father, and grandfather. He enjoyed fishing, hosting family gatherings, gardening, cooking, spending time with his family, and playing dominoes. He was kind, generous, loving, funny, and helpful to anyone in need. He was the kind of man who tried to fix anything that needed repairing. Victor retired early to become the caregiver for his disabled wife. He will be deeply missed by his friends, family, and all who knew him. Victor and his family moved to Florida in 1987 where he was a car salesman and resident of Apopka. The family would like to thank Advent Health Hospice nurses and Ocoee Health and Rehabilitation Center nurses and respiratory team for the care provided to Victor and family; a very special thanks to Veronica (nurse), Miso (nurse) and Sheri (respiratory therapy). The family appreciates all the prayers and concerns extended to us during this time. A graveside service will be held at 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, August 25, 2021, in the Florida National Cemetery in Bushnell, FL. The family will receive friends at a visitation from 9:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home before the service.
