Maria Anna Pallis (Stasinopoulos) June 14, 1956 -September 16, 2013 Our dearest Maria was a devoted wife, the most amazing mother, a loving daughter, a beautiful sister, an affectionate, supportive aunt, and a steadfast friend. "Fairweather" simply did not exist in her vocabulary. Maria was the communal vessel for advice, wisdom, and the lender of an ear when anyone needed just that. She, without question always accepted the onus of embodying exactly what those people in her life and closest to her needed her to be. Marias love was the most unconditional, purest feeling that any one of us who had the fortune of having it bestowed upon us have ever felt. She was our shepherd in life and even more so now in her passing. Maria's greatest attributes were her opinionated nature, her intelligence, her unwavering sense of self worth, and her pride in what and who she believed in. Our tears may fall, and our heart may ache, but those tears and that pain are for us to feel in missing our beloved Maria. We won't shed our tears for her, we'll shed them for ourselves in hope that one day we can be as blessed as she has been in her passing to a far better, more peaceful, elegant place. She has nobody to miss, and no reason to fret, because for the first time in her beautiful, and now eternal life she can watch over and love us all in that same unconditional fashion we have all grown so accustomed to. She will always be in our thoughts and our prayers, her memory lives eternally within us, and we will continue to share our love with her as she will continue to share her unconditional and undying love with us, just as she always has and always will. Never question her presence; Maria was always there when we needed her, and that has not changed. She will always provide us the strength we need, the comfort we seek and the love we deserve; Now, more so than ever before. She will be missed, eternally loved and unequivocally admired. We love you, Maria and we pray that one day the lord grants us the salvation and eternal life that you have already received. Most merciful father, we commend our departed into your hands. we are filled with the sure hope that our departed will rise again on the last day with all who have died in Christ. We thank you for all the good things you have given during our departed's earthly life. O father, in your great mercy, accept our prayer that the Gates of Paradise may be opened for your servant. In our turn, may we, too, be comforted by the words of faith until we greet Christ in the glory and are united with you and our departed. Amen.
