Beth Paul Brissette

Our beautiful Beth passed away on Sunday, February 20, 2022, after a lifetime of handling brain tumors and a bout with breast cancer. Her parents William L. Paul and Margaret R. Paul preceded her in death. Beth had her first tumor removed at the age of 35 when her son, Christopher Robin, was only 11 years old. She then had a second one removed six years ago and the third one was scheduled to be removed February 8th, however, due to her doctor having a personal family emergency, the surgery was cancelled. In the meantime, she had to be admitted to the emergency room for fever and other complications just one week before her death, as her condition worsened making it inevitable to put her in the care of Hospice, where she spent the last four days of her life. Beth was not afraid of dying and her wishes are to be cremated and have her ashes strewn at Cocoa Beach, where she lived and spent so much time in her youth and where she loved to go surfing. Those that knew Beth know how much she loved and contributed to education, music and the arts and how much she cared about the underprivileged, women’s rights, racial injustice, animals, music and freedom. She started a group on Facebook called I Rocked Out at the Orlando Sports Stadium in the 60’s and 70’s where she shares many of her favorite concerts and music. She was born in Memphis, Tennessee, and she was the middle of three sisters, affectionately known as the Seesters, who she leaves behind, and she spent most of her life in Orlando, FL and Winter Garden, FL where she lived when she passed. Her little sister, Cynthia (Cindy) Paul Morales (Vince Morales), remains in Orlando and her big sister, Cheri Paul Gambill (Jim Gambill) lives just outside of Memphis. In addition, Beth leaves behind her son, Christopher Robin Robertson and three grandchildren who she loved dearly including Amber, Gavin and Evan (listed in order of their ages). She also leaves behind her beloved Niece, Michelle Eggers and Nephew, Brandon Eggers, 2 great nieces and 1 great nephew, and many cousins. The family plans to have a Celebration of Life for Beth at a later date and it will be announced as soon as the plans have been finalized.
