Thomas Lyle Minard was born October 13, 1963 in Alta, Iowa, the son of Lyle and Charlene Minard.

He attended Alta High School and went on to Buena Vista University obtaining a degree in Accounting.
Tom worked at various fortune 500 financial services firms through his career.

Tom loved helping others and was active in his community. He helped many families when they struggled to make ends meet and provided gifts and donations to make sure that children always had a good Christmas. He also enjoyed cooking, videography and photography.

Tom was preceded in death by his parents, Lyle and Charlene Minard and is survived by his brothers and sisters, John Minard, Mary Mulvihill, Steven Minard and Nancy Minard.
