Dian Elizabeth Powell, age 66, was born on August 23 1954 in Kingston, Jamaica to Her Parents Cecil Maragh and Ettie Maragh. She later met her loving husband in early 70's. They progressed into Marriage and shortly after starting a family they relocated to New York to live. After spending a few years in New York in the cold they decided to Migrate to Florida to continue raising their beautiful daughters. Dian built an amazing career at Florida Hospital until retirement. Dian transitioned to her eternal rest in Lake Mary, Florida on March 1 2021. Dian was proceeded in death by her father; Cecil Maragh and mother; Ettie Maragh. She is survived by her husband; George D. Powell and two daughters; Jeanice Powell and Candice Powell-Diaz(Jose Diaz); Sister: Brenda Chin( Frank Chin); Grandchildren: Alexandria Powell, Amari Powell, Jordan Powell, Hailee Powell, Madison Wheeler, Skye Powell-Brown, Braylon Powell-Brown, Great Grandchildren: Alexis Powell, Kylee Powell and Bentlee Wheeler.

We will cherish the loving memories and the time that we had with her. She will forever live in our hearts!

A Prayer Service is scheduled for 1:00pm on Saturday, March 13, 2021 at DeGusipe Funeral Home, 9001 N. Orlando Avenue, Maitland, FL 31751
