AMANDA LYNN GONZALEZ, age 27, passed away unexpectedly, but peacefully in the comfort and presence of her home and family on Wednesday, January 11th. Born on November 21, 1995 in Ceiba, Puerto Rico, Amanda was the daughter of Armando and Laura Gonzalez. She graduated from the University of Central Florida with a Bachelor's in Psychology and a desire to help children and eventually Veterans. She was a teacher at UCP Charter Schools and then a Psychometrist at Orlando Health. Both careers she found great joy and value in working with the kids who loved her.
She was a member of Resurrection Catholic Church in Winter Garden, where she attended every Sunday with her beloved father. In her spare time, if she wasn't with her family, she was with her loving partner, Wilbert, exploring the world and all it had to offer. Amanda is and will always be beautiful, kind, devoted, and willfully stubborn. She is survived by her family: Her mother and father, Laura and Armando, her three younger sisters, Adrianna, Emily, and Natalie, and her partner, Wilbert.
While her life was short, it was a beautiful, happy, and fulfilling one. Mass of Catholic Burial will be celebrated and performed at 1:00 P.M. Saturday, January 21st at Queens of Angels Cemetery.
